GARDEN UPDATE
Decided to water every other day. Worked ok a couple of days ago, but today it looked kinda wilty so I gave in and watered. I am amazed at how some of my annuals are still hanging in there. I mean, second week of October? I still have alyssum, petunais, marigolds, a few snapdragons and two rudebeckias.

GARDEN GOODIES~SHARE OUR GARDEN RECIPE #0102 EGG NOG PIE
Oooh, this is one of our faves! So yummy, it's close-your-eyes-when-you-take-a-bite good. AND easy.
You Will Need:
(1) pkg vanilla pudding mix
(2) tsps unflavored gelatin
(2) cup Egg Nog
(1/2) tsp rum extract
(1) cup whipping cream
9" baked pie shell or graham cracker shell
Instructions:
Combine pudding mix, gelatin and egg nog in saucepan and cook over low heat until thick. Remove from heat and stir in rum extract. Chill. Whip cream until stiff. Beat egg nog mixture until smooth and fold into whipped cream. Pour into pie shell and chill several hours until set. Garnish with whipped cream, nutmeg or chocolate shavings.
