Strawberry Santas

"What is Christmas? It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future. It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal, and that every path may lead to peace. ~ Agnes M. Pharo

GARDEN UPDATE
Started out sunny and 50F, but by early afternoon, it was cold and blustery, with dark clouds and leaves flying everywhere.

GARDEN GOODIES~SHARE OUR GARDEN RECIPE #0119 STRAWBERRY SANTAS

You Will Need:
(1) lb large strawberries
(1) (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
(3-4) Tablespoons powdered sugar
(1) teaspoon vanilla extract
 Instructions:

Rinse strawberries and cut around the top of the strawberry. Remove the top, (enough for a hat). Clean out the whole strawberry with a paring knife, if necessary (some of them are hollow already). Prep all of the strawberries and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Add cream cheese mix to a piping bag or Ziploc with the corner snipped off. Fill the strawberries with cheesecake mixture.

Once strawberries are filled, top with the 'hats.' Decorate according to photo. If not serving immediately, refrigerate until serving.

Thanks to reader Virginia for this fun recipe idea!
