Bulbs are sticking their young green heads out to see the Fall. It always amazes me that they know what time to grow, while we are still thinking of cold, ice and snow!  

GARDEN GIGGLE

I came upon a tombstone inscribed with these lines:

Remember me

As you pass by.

As you are now

so once was I.

As I am now,

so you will be.

So prepare yourself

to follow me.

Someone had attached a note to the tombstone. It was a reply of sorts, with poetic lines of its own:
