"The Little Kitchen Helper"
I have a little helper,
She's a helpful little Miss.
A very good daughter,
she'll clean your every dish.
She helps me with the vacuuming,
And putting toys away.
Getting things tidy,
To play another day.
I'm not advocating child labor.
Children shouldn't work for free.
So I feel very fortunate,
she wants to do all this for me.
Now, I'm not saying she is perfect.
She can be a total fright.
But when she's feeling helpful,
She's an absolute delight.

GARDEN UPDATE
Had a chance to sleep in today, which of course I grabbed with both hands! So it kinda threw my watering schedule off, but I was able to accomplish it late afternoon, when it wasn't so hot.
Up in the 90's today, and some small bursts of wind that were pretty strong. Apricots are close to being ripe, can't wait. Hopefully the squirrels will let us have them this year.
GARDEN GIGGLE
Harry and Nancy’s marriage has been on the rocks for a while, so when they hear about a marriage seminar being given in their neighborhood they decide to attend. “One of the most important things in marriage”, said the speaker, “is to get to really know your spouse well. For example,” continued the speaker, “How many of you know what’s your wife’s favorite type of flower?” Harry leaned over to Nancy and whispered, “It’s gold medal all-purpose flour isn’t it?”Had a chance to sleep in today, which of course I grabbed with both hands! Here's an easy gift to make for Father's Day. Simply right mouse click on the image, save to your computer, then print onto stock paper and then cut out and paste picture of your child in the middle. Thread a string or thread through the top to make a hanger. These can be laminated as well to last longer.
