Roses are recovering from the black spot treatment and seem to be thriving. Hubby caught an alligator lizard we named Greenlee and she is the latest garden pet.

GARDEN GOODIES~SHARE OUR GARDEN RECIPE #0049 CORN DOG BITES
In honor of National Hot Dog Day, we offer this yummy dinner treat that has the taste of deep fried corn dogs, but is actually baked!
You Will Need:
cooking spray1 (16 ounce) package hot dogs
(1) cup all-purpose flour
(1) cup yellow corn meal
(1/2) cup white sugar
(2)teaspoons baking powder
(1) teaspoon salt
(1) cup milk
(1) egg
(1/4) cup vegetable oil
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Spray (2) 24-cup mini-muffin pans with cooking spray.
Cut hot dogs into 4 pieces crosswise and cut each piece lengthwise to make 8 pieces per hot dog.
Whisk flour, corn meal, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl; stir in milk, egg, and vegetable oil to make a smooth batter. Stir chopped hot dogs into batter and spoon the mixture into prepared mini muffin cups.
Bake in the preheated oven until the corn muffins are lightly browned and set in the center, about 8 minutes.

I loved the picture of the dolphins and of course, the cat and dog picture has me going aw-aw-aw. So cute! Our two dogs here love to play with the cats, but my old cat is not having any of that! She hisses at the dogs, and Mason the big dog has felt the 'long paw of the law' and so has little Morgan. the puppy. She sits and shrieks at the cat, and she balefully ignores him, unless he edges too close to the chair on which she sits and she half-draws back and up, ears back and hisses a but! Puppy still shrieks at her but doesn't challenge her.
