"A pencil maker told the pencil some important lessons, just before putting it in the box:
- Everything you do will always leave a mark
- You can always correct the mistakes you make
- In life, you will go through painful sharpening, which will only make you better
- To be the best pencil, you must allow yourself to be held and guided by the hand that holds you
- We all need to be constantly sharpened
- Only you can fulfill the purpose which you were born to accomplish
- always remember that the most important part of who you are, is what's inside of you."

GARDEN UPDATE
Sweater weather in the a.m. while watering. Sadly, I bid adieu to the snapdragons, who hung in there for as long as they could. There are still a few annuals blooming, like the orange marigolds and a few petunias.
Gave the amaryllis their manure tea, as well as a few other plants. The rhubarb is now ready for the winter.
