So today was supposed to be the hottest day, along with tomorrow at 111F. It is about 4:30 pm, late afternoon and it is 104F. It was spitting rain a bit earlier and heavy winds as well.

GARDEN GOODIES~SHARE OUR GARDEN RECIPE #0059 S'MORES
In honor of National S'Mores Day today, I am repeating the basic s'more recipes...with a few extras! The best S'Mores are the ones were the marshmellow is hot and gooey (with a little blackened area for flavor) and the chocolate all melty...yum!
You Will Need:
Chocolate candy bar
Honey Graham Crackers
Large Sized Marshmallows
Instructions:
Break off a square of Graham cracker
Add a piece of Chocolate.
Toast a big marshmallow over the campfire.
Add the hot marshmallow.
Top it with another graham Cracker.
Eat , savor and enjoy!
EDITOR'S Note: You can make S'mores in the microwave. Just put them together and pop them into the microwave on high for 15 to 20 seconds.
Variations:
- Try cinnamon graham crackers
- Try flavored chocolate
- Try flavored marshmellows, like strawberry
- Put a dollop of fruit jam or fruit filling on graham cracker before adding marshmellow
